Beatriz E. Terry, DDS, MS
Diplomate, American Board of Periodontology and Dental Implant Surgery
Beatriz E. Terry was born and raised in Miami, Florida. She attended Florida International University. She completed her dental training at Marquette University School of Dentistry graduating Top 10 with Honors and receiving membership into Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society. Dr. Terry then went on to complete a Masters program and residency in Periodontics and dental implants from the University of Minnesota and became a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology, the highest level attainable.
Dr. Terry has been a practicing periodontist for over 30 years. In addition to her practice, she lectures in English and Spanish locally and nationally on periodontics, dental implants, and systemic links to periodontal disease. In addition, she is very involved with organized dentistry, at the state (FDA) and national level (ADA). Her previous and current positions include the following:
- President 2023/2024 – Florida Dental Association
- Past President – South Florida District Dental Association
- Past President – Florida Association of Periodontists
- Florida Delegate – American Dental Association.
- Trustee 2012-2019 – Florida Dental Association
- Second Vice President 2020 – Florida Dental Association
Dr. Terry is proud to have been nominated and inducted into several dental honor societies including Pierre Fauchard Academy, the American College of Dentists and the International College of Dentists.
Family life is very important to Dr. Terry. She is married and has 3 adult children. She and her family enjoy traveling, snow skiing and fishing. In her free time, she enjoys playing tennis and the outdoors as well as attending local cultural events.
Kathy Neyshaboori, R.D.H.
Registered Dental Hygienist
Kathy joined Miami Implant Perio in 2023 as a front desk administrator. Since then, she went on to complete credentialing for Dental Hygiene and is practicing dental hygiene at our office. Patients love her kind and happy disposition, her gentle touch, and her vast knowledge on periodontal diseases and dental care. In addition, Kathy is our Professional Relationship Director, managing relationships with the excellent referring Doctors we work with.

Roving Surgical Assistant
Hindy has been a surgical assistant for 30+ years. She has worked with Dr. Terry for numerous years and recently rejoined our team. Hindy is our go-to person for extra help with phones, assisting chairside and discussing treatment, answering questions or simply listening to our patients needs or concerns. She is caring and considerate and makes sure our patients feel at home.
Zunilda Cuervo
Surgical Assistant
Zuni joined Miami Implant Perio this past September 2020. Zuni has over 20 years of experience in the dental world. She has assisted general dentists, orthodontists and endodontists. Periodontics and dental implants were new to Zuni, but she has taken to it extremely quickly. She is very confident in her work and knows how to make our patients feel comfortable and safe during all of the numerous procedures we offer.

Mirka joined our team and hit the ground running. She has a vast amount of administrative dental knowledge and a kind disposition. She is here to help you with booking hygiene and surgical appointments, working on financial arrangements and filing insurance claims. She is ready to assist you with any questions, concerns, or compliments you might have.
Melany Valdes
Front Desk Assistant
Melany joined our team in 2025. She is a college student, majoring in Psychology. She is the first face our patients see or hear via phone and greets everyone with a smile. She knows the latest in technology and assists us in keeping up to date with all things state-of-the-art.
